Setting up Free Shipping Bar

In the Shopify admin the app appears as KODMIL Free Shipping Bar, and inside the app as Cart Goals & Rewards. Setup has three parts: turning on the app embed, placing the bar on your pages and checking it on your store. No theme code changes are needed.

1. Follow the setup guide

When you open the app, the Setup guide on the Dashboard shows which steps are done. Unfinished steps stay unchecked; the steps below cover the two most important ones in detail.

2. Turn on the app embed

Open the theme editor with Online Store > Themes > Customize and click the App embeds icon on the left. Turn on KODMIL Cart Goals and click Save. This embed runs the gift engine, the cart drawer bar and the sticky bars.

3. Place the bar on your pages

In the app, open your campaign from Campaigns and go to the Placement tab. Tick where the bar should appear: product page, cart page, cart drawer, sticky bar or floating card. Product and cart page bars are added as theme blocks; use Add to product page and Add to cart page for that.

4. Save the block

Add to product page opens the theme editor and adds the KODMIL Cart Goals bar block to the product information automatically. Once you see the bar in the preview, click Save. Repeat the same step for the cart page with Add to cart page.

You can leave the campaign ID field in the block settings empty; the highest-priority active campaign is shown.

5. Test your store

Add products to the cart on your storefront and check that the bar fills, the gift appears and the checkout total is right. Then click I checked my storefront in the setup guide.
